Nintendo Switch พร้อมวางจำหน่ายแล้วพร้อมกันทั่วโลก เมื่อวันที่ 3 มีนาคมที่ผ่านมา ซึ่งที่จริงมีการเปิดรับพรีออเดอร์มาแล้วก่อนหน้านี้ และทำให้ Nintendo เห็นความสำเร็จอยู่ไม่ไกล อย่างไรก็ตามหลังจากวางจำหน่ายอย่างทางการเมื่อวานนี้ Reggie Fils-Aime ซีโอโอและประธาน Nintendo ของสหรัฐอเมริกา ก็ได้ส่งข้อความขอบคุณลูกค้าผ่านทางบัญชี Twitter @NintendoAmerica
Reggie Fils-Aime กล่าวว่า เขาแทบจะรอไม่ไหวที่จะให้เกมเมอร์ได้เล่น Nintendo Switch ที่ได้รับการออกแบบมาให้นั่งเล่นได้อย่างสบายในห้องนั่งเล่น หรือในทุกที่ที่คุณต้องการ (เพราะ Nintendo Switch สามารถพกพาไปนอกสถานที่ได้ เหมือนพกพาแท็บเล็ต) พร้อมกันนี้ยังได้แนะนำเกมใหม่ๆ นอกจาก 1-2-Switch หรือ The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild ได้แก่ Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Arms, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Fire Emblem และ Snipperclips – Cut it out, together!
นอกจากนี้ คู่แข่งอย่าง Sony และ Microsoft ต่างก็ได้แสดงความยินดีกับ Nintendo ในโอกาสพิเศษ เปิดตัว Nintendo Switch เป็นวันแรกอีกด้วย โดยทั้ง 2 บริษัทส่งความยินดีผ่านทางบัญชี Twitter @PlayStation และ @Xbox ซึ่งหาได้ยากที่คู่แข่งทางการค้าจะมีไมตรีที่ดีต่อกันแบบนี้
